The Opportunity

The Cyber Security Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in coordinating cyber projects with our customers to ensure successful delivery of key projects. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring projects, managing clients and other stakeholders, and mitigating risks to achieve desired outcomes. This role requires strong communication and organisational skills to drive collaboration across teams and deliver results within scope, budget, and timeline. You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth customer experience throughout the life of your assigned projects.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end management of cyber security projects from planning and project initiation, through to implementation and project closure.
  • Coordinate internal and external project kick-off meetings, including scheduling, minute taking, and distributing agendas, minutes, and actions.
  • Produce client facing project plans and timelines in line with project scope and budget.
  • Maintain project plans, status reports, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
  • Facilitating and participating in stakeholder meetings.
  • Provide assistance with escalation requests, and handle customer complaints when required.
  • Work with the cross-functional project team to ensure project objectives are met and deliver high-quality results.
  • Work with project Technical Lead to ensure all project tasks are completed on time and to budget, updates are provided, and time entries are captured.
  • Management of 3rd party contractors and suppliers when required.
  • Management of projects via the ITSM tool, ensuring a high-quality of project health at all times.
  • Identify, track and manage project risks and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Undertake project tasks as required.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the end-to-end management of cyber security projects.
  • Experience in the delivery of cyber professional services and software tools.
  • Knowledge in cyber standards such as COBIT 5, PCI DSS, ISO 27000, NIST SP800-53, CIS and The Essential Eight guidelines
  • PMP, Prince2, Agile or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Excellent organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks and be responsive to requests and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously is essential to the role.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience with data entry and record-keeping experience is desirable.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, or ServiceNow.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and managing projects with cross-functional teams and tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with team members, suppliers, and customers.
